Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse
In the Emergency Department, the nurse is responsible for providing both direct and indirect patient care services. This includes assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and executing nursing interventions. The role emphasizes the importance of precise documentation, maintaining patient safety, and facilitating seamless communication within the healthcare team to ensure the continuity of patient care. Applicants must possess an Associate degree in nursing along with a valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting is required, as well as certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
