Job Summary
The Manager in Training will manage the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care services within a long-term care establishment while engaging in a comprehensive 12-week training program. This role is designed to develop future leaders capable of ensuring high standards of facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide staff in daily operations.
- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain and manage operational records accurately.
- Serve as the communication link between the facility management and service teams.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities are essential.
- Competence in using computers and relevant software.
- Physical capability to perform tasks, including the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
