**Job Title: Benefits and Authorization Specialist**
The Benefits and Authorization Specialist acts as an intermediary between insurance providers and clinical personnel to confirm patient eligibility and secure prior approvals. This position plays a crucial role in the revenue cycle by ensuring that benefit information is accurately documented, thereby reducing the likelihood of claim denials and billing complications. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical billing. Mastery of medical terminology, coding practices, and familiarity with practice management software is necessary, alongside excellent communication and organizational abilities.
