Job description
The Registered Nurse delivers expert nursing care and services within the emergency department by applying the nursing process effectively. This encompasses patient evaluation, diagnosis formulation, care planning, implementation, and assessment, all aligned with hospital regulations. Applicants are required to have a nursing degree along with an active Florida Registered Nurse license or a compact state license. Mandatory certifications include BLS, ACLS, and the NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certification must be obtained within 90 days post-hire.
