Research Associate
Boston, MA
$35-45/hr
The Research Associate will play a key role in facilitating effective and high-quality laboratory operations within small molecule assay workflows. A background in executing assays related to in vitro pharmacology, ADME, bioanalysis, or similar laboratory environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities for the Research Associate:
- Conduct both routine and semi-routine laboratory procedures with a consistent focus on quality, care, and efficiency.
- Prepare necessary reagents, consumables, plates, samples, and other materials to ensure smooth execution of planned experiments.
- Assist in the implementation of assay workflows across various relevant domains, including in vitro pharmacology, ADME, bioanalysis, or other applicable fields.
- Adhere to established protocols and standard operating procedures to guarantee reproducibility in assay performance and accuracy in data collection.
- Keep meticulous and accurate laboratory records, aiding in sample and workflow management through appropriate tracking systems and documentation methods.
Requirements for the Research Associate Position:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Initial laboratory experience gained in an academic, biotech, pharmaceutical, contract research organization (CRO), or related setting.
- Proven capability to perform laboratory workflows with meticulous attention to detail and high documentation standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Initial laboratory experience gained in an academic, biotech, pharmaceutical, contract research organization (CRO), or related setting.
- Proven capability to perform laboratory workflows with meticulous attention to detail and high documentation standards.
