Job Summary
The Research Specialist plays a crucial role in the management of clinical trial budgets and financial aspects of studies. This position involves performing coverage analyses and maintaining adherence to financial regulations set forth by Medicare and various commercial payers. The Research Specialist will work in close coordination with clinical research teams, finance departments, and sponsors to negotiate budgetary agreements and address any billing issues that arise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain budgets for clinical trials.
- Conduct coverage analysis and ensure regulatory compliance with financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with clinical research teams and finance departments to create budget negotiations.
- Resolve discrepancies related to billing in collaboration with sponsors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical trials.
- Proficient in clinical research protocols and Medicare coverage determination.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
