Job Summary
The role of the Resident Assistant involves delivering both physical and emotional support to residents in alignment with their service agreements. This position plays a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in a care setting by assisting with various daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical and emotional support to residents based on established service agreements.
- Assist residents with daily living tasks to promote independence and comfort.
- Support dining room activities, ensuring a pleasant eating experience for all residents.
- Monitor and report on residents’ health conditions to ensure their ongoing safety and well-being.
Qualifications
- At least six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living settings is required.
- A certification as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
