Job Summary
The Counselor will provide individual virtual therapy sessions for adults, focusing on a range of mental health issues. This role is essential for fostering supportive client relationships and ensuring effective therapeutic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual therapy sessions with adult clients.
- Address various mental health concerns through effective therapeutic techniques.
- Keep precise clinical documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
- Monitor client risk levels and take appropriate actions when necessary.
- Coordinate referrals to additional services as required to support client needs.
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field related to mental health.
- Previous experience in outpatient mental health services.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting therapy through video conferencing platforms.
