Job Summary
The Residential Intake Coordinator will serve as a vital point of contact for individuals seeking residential services. This role involves facilitating the intake process, ensuring a smooth transition for clients into the program. The coordinator will also collaborate with various team members to uphold organizational standards and provide exceptional client care.
Responsibilities
- Manage the intake process for prospective residents, including collecting necessary documents and information.
- Assess and document client eligibility for programs and services.
- Coordinate with staff to schedule and conduct intake assessments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Provide support and information to clients and their families throughout the process.
- Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as social work or psychology preferred.
- Experience in patient/client intake or a similar support role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficient in using computer systems and maintaining records.
