Job Summary
The Resource Nurse plays an essential role in providing high-quality care and support across various departments within the healthcare facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that patient needs are met by delivering exemplary nursing practice, promoting effective communication, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across different units as needed.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions between departments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior nursing staff during shifts.
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid nursing license in the relevant state.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think critically and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends.
