Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist position offers a temporary 9-week opportunity for a qualified professional to provide critical care and support in a clinical setting. This role is essential for patients requiring respiratory therapy and associated treatments.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments based on established protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments to monitor respiratory functions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families concerning respiratory health and care techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment protocols.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment effectively and safely.
Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license.
- Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
- Effective communication skills for interactions with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
