Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist plays a crucial role in administering respiratory therapy treatment and managing respiratory equipment for patients of all ages. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
- Administer respiratory treatments to patients spanning different age groups.
- Ensure adherence to professional healthcare standards during patient care.
- Effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.
- Utilize clinical judgment to assess and respond to patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred minimum of two years of experience in an acute care environment.
- Graduation from a recognized respiratory therapy program.
