Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapy Lead is responsible for delivering direct respiratory care, which encompasses assessments, treatments, and management of airways for residents. This role includes the coordination of daily respiratory services, offering clinical direction to staff members, and ensuring that all operations align with facility policies and adhere to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct respiratory care, including thorough assessments and treatments.
- Manage airway interventions effectively for residents.
- Coordinate daily operations of respiratory services within the facility.
- Offer clinical guidance and support to the respiratory therapy team.
- Ensure conformity with established facility policies and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current and active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience as a Respiratory Therapist is required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification is necessary.
- Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute care environment is preferred.
