Job Summary
The Revenue Integrity Analyst I plays a pivotal role in enhancing revenue integrity operations by thoroughly examining billing edits, pinpointing charge capture discrepancies, and supporting payer compliance initiatives. This position is essential for ensuring that all billing practices align with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
Responsibilities
- Analyze billing edits to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Recognize and resolve charge capture problems effectively.
- Assist with compliance activities related to payers to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Prepare detailed performance reports to guide operational decisions.
- Work collaboratively with coding, operational, and compliance teams to maintain accurate billing and documentation practices.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of three years of experience in revenue cycle management, billing compliance, or financial analysis.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Hold professional certifications such as AHIMA-CCS, AAPC-CPC, or AHIMA-RHIT, which are advantageous in place of a degree.
