Job Summary
The Right of Way/Forestry Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing strategies related to vegetation management across various right-of-way areas. This role is integral in ensuring that vegetation does not hinder operational efficiency and safety. The specialist will work closely with different teams to maintain compliance with environmental standards while promoting responsible land use.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement vegetation management plans for right-of-way areas.
- Conduct assessments to determine the impact of vegetation on operational areas.
- Collaborate with environmental agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to vegetation management activities.
- Provide technical expertise regarding tree trimming and removal procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in vegetation management and right-of-way operations.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
