Job Summary
The Structural Materials Engineer will play a crucial role in the development and testing of materials used in various structural applications. This position requires expertise in material properties, structural analysis, and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance product performance and durability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to analyze material properties and their applications in structural engineering.
- Develop specifications and standards for structural materials.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure materials meet project requirements.
- Perform failure analysis and develop solutions to material-related issues.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation related to findings and project progress.
- Stay updated on emerging materials and technologies relevant to structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with material testing and analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
