Position Summary for Structural Materials Engineer:
We are an international leader in innovative chemical solutions tailored for construction, emphasizing eco-friendly concrete admixtures and underground solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our sales, marketing, and technical teams, as well as with concrete producers and contractors, to facilitate the application of advanced concrete technologies. Your responsibilities will include crafting strategies to capture projects, delivering technical support and analysis, and promoting our offerings via industry networking and events. This position aims to elevate industry standards and illustrate our pioneering role in construction innovations.
Key Responsibilities for Structural Materials Engineer:
- Devise and implement strategies to obtain concrete-related specifications and projects.
- Offer technical support, conduct structural analyses, and provide design guidance for cutting-edge high-performance concrete solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and R&D teams to develop materials that demonstrate our products’ efficacy and advantages, reinforcing our leadership in specification initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain relations within the Architecture/Engineering sectors and actively engage in industry organizations, such as ACI, ASTM International, PCI, NPCA, and NCSEA.
- Participate in promotional initiatives, including face-to-face events and webinars, to exhibit industry leadership and encourage the adoption of new product specifications.
Required Qualifications for Structural Materials Engineer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; EIT or PE licensure is desirable.
- Experience in the construction sector, particularly with concrete design and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across various functions and with teams effectively.
- Willingness and capacity to travel as required (less than 20%).
