Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for developing and executing customized care plans, while also overseeing the delegation of nursing tasks to suitable team members. This role emphasizes the importance of adhering to evidence-based practice standards and facilitating efficient communication between physicians and other healthcare staff.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Delegate nursing duties to team members effectively.
- Maintain standards of evidence-based practice in all nursing operations.
- Ensure effective communication with healthcare providers, including physicians and ancillary staff.
Qualifications
- Must have completed an accredited nursing program.
- Possess a valid nursing license for the state of Iowa.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications are required to be obtained within designated timeframes post-hire.
