Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate and comprehensive healthcare. RNs are required to assess patient needs, create care plans, and implement nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes. They collaborate with healthcare professionals and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of health services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients’ medical histories and condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper techniques and safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor patients’ progress and modify care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid state nursing license as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; an associate degree may be acceptable in certain settings.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Solid understanding of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
