Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care that is tailored to various age groups by utilizing the nursing process, which encompasses assessment, diagnosis, and the execution of treatment strategies. This role necessitates close collaboration with the healthcare team to facilitate procedures, assign responsibilities, and uphold a commitment to achieving superior patient outcomes safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate patient care through the nursing process.
- Conduct thorough assessments and make accurate diagnoses.
- Implement and manage treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate patient care activities and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in patient care.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York or Connecticut.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a relevant nursing specialty.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
