Job Summary
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in emergency situations. This position requires availability to work every other weekend and during alternate holidays, ensuring continuous support to the team and patients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate effectively with medical and support staff to facilitate patient assessment and treatment.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments.
- Engage in patient education and provide resources for ongoing care.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
- Current nursing license and relevant certifications for the emergency department.
- Ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the emergency environment.
- Availability to fulfill the required weekend and holiday shifts; blocked schedules cannot be accommodated.
