Job Summary
The position of ED RN (Emergency Department Registered Nurse) requires a dedicated professional to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting. This role necessitates working every other weekend and every other holiday, reflecting the commitment to providing continuous patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate effectively with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assess patient conditions, and develop and execute nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring for side effects.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
- Current RN licensure and relevant certifications as required.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to dynamic situations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Availability to fulfill required weekend and holiday shifts without a blocked schedule.
