Job Summary
The Hospital Infusion/PICC Nurse plays a vital role in delivering direct patient care, with a particular focus on the insertion of PICC and Midline lines. This position involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate patient requirements, offer educational support, and ensure meticulous clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer direct patient care, especially related to PICC and Midline line procedures.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assess and address patient needs.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatments and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- A college diploma in nursing is mandatory for this role.
