Job Summary
The Registered Nurse plays a critical role in providing empathetic, family-oriented care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This position emphasizes the importance of safety and the maintenance of a sterile environment, ensuring that all protocols are meticulously followed.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver compassionate care centered around patients and their families.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile field during surgical operations.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to document patient care effectively.
- Administer medications and support the medical team throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Possession of an active Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License.
- Current certifications in BLS and PALS from the American Heart Association.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Prior experience in a pediatric healthcare operating room setting is advantageous.
