Job Summary
The RN PRN position offers flexible opportunities for a Registered Nurse to provide care on an as-needed basis. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality patient care while adapting to the varied demands of the healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ health status and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Document all care and interventions in the patient’s medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in a clinical setting; specific experience may vary by department.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be preferred.
