Job description
Job Summary
The Roadway Engineer will be instrumental in the design and implementation of roadway projects. This role demands a professional adept at applying engineering principles to build safe and efficient road systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed assessments and analyses for roadway design projects.
- Utilize Civil Engineering software to create design plans and documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Prepare and review technical reports and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Strong knowledge of roadway design standards and practices.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
