Job Summary
The Sample Preparation Technician plays a critical role in the processing and analysis of samples within a laboratory setting. This position involves executing precise sample preparation techniques to ensure high-quality results in various tests and experiments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for analysis by following established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Document sample preparation processes and maintain accurate records to comply with quality control standards.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in troubleshooting operational issues.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
- Experience in laboratory techniques or sample handling is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
