Job Summary
We are in search of a seasoned Satellite Mechanical/Structural Engineer to join our team in Midland, Texas. In this role, the engineer will be pivotal in the design, analysis, and testing related to commercial and government satellite applications. They will oversee the development and maintenance of specifications regarding testing needs, materials, and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of satellite structures.
- Define testing requirements and oversee test execution.
- Specify and select appropriate materials and processes for satellite construction.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical and structural engineering in the aerospace sector.
- Strong knowledge of satellite design and analysis methodologies.
- Experience with aerospace materials and processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
