SCREENING TECHNICIAN (2ND SHIFT)

**Job Title: Screening Technician**

The Screening Technician is responsible for conducting preliminary forensic toxicology tests utilizing ELISA and EIA techniques, while ensuring a tidy, secure, and structured laboratory environment. This role includes diagnosing instrument malfunctions, maintaining accurate documentation of chain of custody, and mentoring new staff in screening methodologies. Applicants are required to possess a BS/BA degree in a relevant field such as chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, including specified coursework in chemistry, biology, and mathematics. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, exceptional time management abilities, and effective collaboration skills within a team setting.
