Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a crucial role in supporting surgical teams during procedures. This position involves assisting in various surgical operations, maintaining the cleanliness of the operating room, and ensuring that all instruments are properly sterilized and ready for use. The technologist is essential in promoting patient safety and enhancing the efficiency of surgical practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams before, during, and after operations.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and the operating room.
- Ensure all necessary supplies are available and in place prior to surgeries.
- Support patient safety initiatives throughout surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience as a Surgical Technologist or in a similar capacity.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong focus on patient care and team collaboration.
