Job Summary
The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in overseeing the monthly closing activities, safeguarding the accuracy of the balance sheet, and delivering precise financial reports for operations across multiple entities. This position involves collaborating with various departments to offer financial insights, back up audit processes, and enhance accounting methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain integrity of the balance sheet across multi-entity operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
- Support audit activities and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in public or corporate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
