Job description
**Senior Accountant**
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing intricate accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and managing endowment accounting, while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining the integrity of internal controls. This position also spearheads initiatives for process enhancement and works closely with both internal and external partners to uphold the Foundation’s financial responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards, as well as experience with audited financial statements and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant and progressively responsible experience; a CPA license is strongly preferred.
