Job Summary
The Accounting Specialist is tasked with overseeing daily accounting tasks such as managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintaining the general ledger. This role also includes support during the month-end closing process, assisting with tax matters, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Provide assistance during the month-end closing procedure.
- Support tax-related activities and filing requirements.
- Enforce internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related area.
- Advanced skills in Excel are a must.
- Strong analytical abilities and technical knowledge related to accounting practices.
- Capability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
