Job Summary
The Senior AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on AWS. This role involves working closely with teams to enhance cloud infrastructure and ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of the systems deployed.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Manage and monitor AWS cloud resources efficiently.
- Implement automation for cloud services to optimize performance and cost.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices for cloud architecture.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred.
