Job Summary
WSP is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Senior Biologist to join our Earth and Environment Section, specifically focusing on Environmental Impact Assessments in the Pacific Northwest. This role requires a meticulous individual who will be working onsite in Seattle, Washington, while also offering flexibility in locations such as Redmond, WA, or Portland, OR.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biological assessments as part of environmental impact evaluations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ecological findings into project planning.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation reflective of biological studies and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards during project implementation.
- Participate in fieldwork and data collection, analyzing various biological data.
Qualifications
- A degree in biology, environmental science, or a related field, preferably at the graduate level.
- Proven experience in biological assessments and familiarity with environmental regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities necessary for project execution.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate findings and collaborate with teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and ecological modeling tools.
