Job Summary
The Senior Director is responsible for the leadership of revenue cycle operations, encompassing strategic development, financial oversight, and the unification of processes throughout the organization. This role serves as the main point of contact regarding billing and collections, while also guiding teams and fostering agreement between clinical and executive leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage revenue cycle operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct strategic planning and oversee budget management to optimize financial performance.
- Standardize processes across the enterprise to enhance operational workflows.
- Serve as a key liaison for billing and collection matters.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to teams within the organization.
- Encourage collaboration and build consensus among clinical and executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is highly preferred.
- At least 10 years of pertinent experience in the healthcare industry.
- Robust knowledge of revenue cycle management principles and practices.
- Proven track record in change leadership and navigating complex organizational environments.
