Job Summary
The Senior HPC DevOPS Engineer will be essential in managing high-performance computing environments, contributing to the design and automation of clustered compute systems. This role requires candidates to hold a TS/SCI clearance with Maryland polygraph and work onsite in College Park, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of high-performance computing (HPC) systems.
- Develop and automate clustered computing environments.
- Ensure reliable deployment and operation of production Linux systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the performance and scalability of HPC resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in Linux systems, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or DevOps.
- Proven expertise in automating and managing complex compute environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in a production setting.
