Job Summary
The Senior Maintenance Electrician is responsible for overseeing and executing electrical maintenance tasks across various facilities. This role demands significant expertise in electronic systems, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure optimal operation and safety of all electrical components within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and equipment failures swiftly and efficiently.
- Install, modify, and repair electrical installations according to specifications and regulations.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior electrical staff as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a maintenance capacity.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Holding a valid electrician’s license or certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid communication skills to interact with team members and management.
