Job Summary
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for managing the production, integration, and testing phases of spacecraft and propulsion systems. This role emphasizes the implementation of process standardization and enhancement of quality throughout the manufacturing stages.
Responsibilities
- Lead the oversight of spacecraft and propulsion system production, integration, and testing.
- Collaborate effectively with production teams and technicians to ensure timely project delivery.
- Address and resolve technical challenges that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Drive initiatives for process standardization and quality improvement within manufacturing workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 5 to 10 years of pertinent experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in spacecraft fabrication and non-conformance issue resolution.
- Experience in developing efficient manufacturing processes.
- Valid U.S. work authorization to comply with ITAR regulations.
