Job description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in leading technical initiatives within precision optics operations, with an emphasis on process innovation, production assistance, and ongoing enhancements. This position requires addressing production challenges, applying standardized manufacturing practices, and overseeing the shift of products from prototype stages to full-scale production. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in precision manufacturing. Required skills include expertise in GD&T, proficiency in 3D CAD tools, and familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, as well as U.S. Person status to meet ITAR regulations.
