Job Summary
The Senior PLC Field Service Technician for Data Center Power Systems will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and maintenance services at our New York location. This role entails collaborating with the Service Manager and is centered on preventive maintenance and driving operational improvements within our data center environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on power systems within data centers.
- Oversee and mentor junior field technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and service teams.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance service quality and productivity.
- Engage in troubleshooting and repair activities to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting, particularly in power systems.
- Capability to work onsite with hands-on technical expertise.
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead and guide junior resources.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams to implement design solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and pursue operational enhancements.
