Job Summary
The Senior Project Engineer for Water will lead and oversee various engineering projects within the water sector. This position is crucial for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects that enhance water systems and services. The role demands a deep understanding of water infrastructure, compliance standards, and effective project management techniques.
Responsibilities
- Manage water-related engineering projects from inception through completion while ensuring adherence to budget and timeline constraints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, contractors, and community members, to ensure project alignment and compliance.
- Evaluate project plans and specifications, providing technical guidance and solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project updates and technical reports to both internal and external parties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly desired.
- Significant experience in project management within the water sector.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and standards related to water infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
