Job Summary
The Senior Quality Technician plays a crucial role in creating and upholding manufacturing and quality procedures, which are vital for the reliable production of precision CNC-machined components. This position encompasses leading investigations into root causes of issues, conducting inspections, and working collaboratively across departments to enhance process capability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality processes for precision CNC machining.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts to identify and rectify manufacturing issues.
- Perform detailed inspections of finished components and processes.
- Work closely with various teams to boost process capability and increase throughput.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a precision manufacturing setting.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes.
- Expertise in GD&T and quality management standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
