Job Summary
The Senior Retirement Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering expert guidance on retirement programs, helping clients navigate their benefits and making informed decisions. This position involves collaborating with clients to assess their retirement needs and providing tailored solutions that align with their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized retirement planning advice to clients, ensuring they understand their options and the implications of their choices.
- Analyze clients’ current benefit plans and retirement accounts, identifying strategies for optimization.
- Educate clients on various retirement products, including pensions, IRAs, and 401(k)s.
- Conduct workshops and seminars to share knowledge and best practices regarding retirement planning.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of regulatory changes and trends in retirement planning to inform clients accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retirement planning or a related field, with a strong understanding of retirement products and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist clients and foster relationships.
- Ability to analyze complex financial situations and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) are advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple cases efficiently.
