Job description
**Job Title: Mechanical and Optomechanical Hardware Engineer**
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of mechanical and optomechanical hardware, taking projects from initial concept through to analysis, prototyping, and attaining flight qualification. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate hardware advancement, engaging in tasks such as assembly, alignment, and testing tailored for space applications. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical or optomechanical design. A strong command of 3D CAD, finite element analysis, and practical hardware testing is essential.
