Job Summary
This role involves the design and enhancement of compute scheduler and resource-management systems, focusing on developing capacity models applicable to both private and public cloud settings. The position is also responsible for spearheading performance and scalability testing, utilizing AI/ML techniques for system optimization, and mentoring senior engineers to foster technical excellence within the team.
Responsibilities
- Design and continually improve compute scheduling and resource management systems.
- Develop capacity models for private and public cloud infrastructures.
- Lead efforts in performance and scalability testing.
- Implement AI and machine learning methodologies for optimization tasks.
- Provide mentorship to senior engineers to promote high standards of technical expertise.
Qualifications
- At least 12 years of experience in software engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native SaaS solutions and distributed systems.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale infrastructure deployment and AI integration.
