Job Summary
Leidos is looking for a Licensed Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the utility sector to join our team. This position primarily focuses on overseeing design evaluations, collaborating with engineering teams and draftspeople, and providing support for bid and construction documentation related to substation projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct design reviews for substation projects.
- Facilitate collaboration among engineers and draftspeople to ensure project success.
- Support the preparation of bid and construction packages for various projects.
- Maintain adherence to relevant engineering standards and practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to address project needs and requirements.
Qualifications
- Licensed Civil/Structural Engineer with a strong background in the utility industry.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering.
- Proficiency in design and engineering software tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
