Job Summary
The Senior Substation Commissioning Specialist is responsible for managing the complete commissioning process of electrical substations. This includes tasks such as testing, validating, and troubleshooting intricate systems. The role requires leadership in project teams, vendor collaboration, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire life-cycle commissioning of electrical substations.
- Lead project teams in the execution of commissioning activities.
- Coordinate efforts with vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout all phases of work.
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of eight years of experience in substation commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards related to substations.
- Proficient in power system analysis software.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
