Job Summary
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the architecture, integration, and evaluation of avionics systems for the Winnebago spacecraft. This role involves working closely with various teams to guarantee the spacecraft’s preparedness for all stages of its mission, including launch, operational periods, and reentry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and integration processes of avionics systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective mission operations.
- Ensure the Winnebago spaceship is ready for all mission phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system design and validation.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) testbeds.
