Job Summary
The System Firmware Architect is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive design and development of firmware for intricate server platforms, which encompasses out-of-band management and power sequencing functionalities. This role involves close collaboration with silicon and hardware teams to ensure successful bringing up of systems and the implementation of stringent firmware security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of firmware for complex server platforms.
- Collaborate with silicon and hardware engineering teams on bring-up activities.
- Enforce robust standards for firmware security.
- Oversee out-of-band management and power sequencing functionalities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in firmware or embedded systems engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in an architecture or technical leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in C programming and in-depth knowledge of server platform architecture.
