Job Summary
The Senior System Specialist is responsible for overseeing the integrity, updates, and configuration of the Chargemaster, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing the revenue cycle. This role serves as a critical link among finance, clinical departments, and IT, facilitating the development of strategic roadmaps and delivering training on billing processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Chargemaster to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize revenue cycle processes.
- Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and clinical departments.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for the organization.
- Provide training on billing procedures to relevant personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 8 years of experience in revenue cycle management.
- At least 5 years of experience in a hospital business office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- In-depth knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and Medicare billing regulations.
