Job Summary
The Senior Transportation Design Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of transportation infrastructure projects. This position involves providing technical guidance to various multidisciplinary teams and plays a crucial role in fostering client relationships, aiding in business development, and mentoring engineering personnel to guarantee successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of transportation projects.
- Provide technical oversight to multidisciplinary project teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Support business development initiatives to secure new projects.
- Mentorship and guidance to engineering staff to enhance project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in transportation infrastructure design.
- Preferred: North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proven record in managing complex roadway, highway, or bridge projects.
